Another one for the Calendar

The Arts & Multiculturalism Minister, Mr. Winston "Gypsy" Peters has said that a decision on whether or not there will be a Carnival slated for Tobago will be made by the end of the month.  Tobago pops off a handful of annual events; a much anticipated Jazz Festival, the annual Great Race competition, and more recently -Tobago Fest.  The talk of the town will be the October Carnival if it does indeed come to pass, Trinbagonians love their carnival and adding another one to the social calendar..well it's just one more excuse to lime and party hard!

Air Canada To Launch a New Low Cost Carrier Service

Source: Jamaica Observer

Competition amongst Airlines will soon go up another notch.  Air Canada plans to enter the race and compete against Low Cost Carriers WestJet and AirTransat.  it's not Air Canada's first foray into the market of low cost carriers, they previously tried with Tango and Zip - these ventures di not work, but fingers are crossed for this new venture's success.

The new fleet will be made up of 50 planes each with a capacity of 213 passengers flying to destination spots in Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
